TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup is a combination of cefpodoxime and clavulanic acid. It is used in children to treat bacterial infections affecting your lungs, nose, throat, ears, skin and urinary tract. It works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall and eventually kills them. TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup is not effective against infections caused by viruses. TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup has some common side effects such as diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Do not use this medicine if your child is previously allergic to it. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or bother your child. TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup is an effective medicine used in infants above 3 months of age. TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup can be given with or without food. Before administration, dissolve the powder in a glass of water. For the ease of remembering, give the dry syrup to your child at the same time every day. Once you started using this medicine for your child, ensure that the entire course of treatment is completed. Avoid unnecessary use of TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup as excessive use may cause the bacteria to become resistant to treatment. TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup may interact with live vaccines. Hence, maintain a time gap of at least 2 hours between the administration of the vaccine and this medicine TULEPOD CV (50/31.25 mg/5 ml) Dry Syrup may not be suitable for all children. Inform the paediatrician about your child’s complete medical history, including any previous episode of allergy, a blood disorder, birth defects, heart, lung, stomach, skin, liver, or kidney problem on priority.
